About DareNation
Dare Nation started in 2022 as a simple class project in a graphic design course—but it came from something much deeper. At the time, I was going through one of the hardest periods of my life, dealing with the loss of my best friend while trying to navigate everything else that comes with being a high schooler. It was heavy, confusing, and isolating.
During that time, I found myself constantly sketching—random words, ideas, anything I could turn into something expressive with a rough, rock-inspired edge. Somewhere in that process, a thought stuck: daring to be different. I never really fit in, leaning more alternative while everyone else seemed to follow the same trends. That idea turned into “Dare Nation”—a place built on individuality, honesty, and not being afraid to stand apart.
I’d see people wearing big-name brands every day, supporting companies that didn’t really know them or care about their story. That pushed me to create something different—something real, built by someone who understands what it feels like to struggle and to not quite belong.
